What is an emission test?
One parameter to measure indoor air is the emission - the release of materials into the environment from a source – for example, a building material. The determination of emissions - VOCs and formaldehyde - is carried out as part of a chamber test (ISO 16000 parts 2, 3, 6, 9 and 11) and (EN 16516).
In Europe, this issue has grown in importance over the past years. This trend will continue, as some European countries have already implemented emissions regulations. Furthermore, in addition to developers and builders, tenants, buyers and owners are increasingly attaching great importance to sustainable solutions during construction. They want to know that low-emission products have been used and that the indoor air quality is safe.
OETI is accredited under ISO 16000 Part 2, 3, 6, 9, and 11, as well as EN 16516. Benefit from our experts' decades of experience in on-site odour testing and indoor air and emission chamber analyses of volatile organic compounds.
We offer VOC testing for products and indoor air and on-site odour testing.
